OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

THE SCRIPTURES: We believe in the divine inspiration & supreme authority of the Scriptures, the only infallible rule of faith and practice in all matters.

THE GODHEAD: We believe in the existence of one God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

THE PERSON OF CHRIST: We believe in the Deity and the Incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ, the second person of the Holy Trinity

HUMANITY: We believe in the fallen, sinful and lost estate of all mankind.

THE WAY OF SALVATION: We believe in the salvation of men from the penal consequences and the power of sin through the perfect obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ, His atoning death, His resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His unchanging priesthood.

THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the direct work of the Holy Spirit in the regeneration of men in their sanctification and in their preservation to the Heavenly Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE NECESSITY OF FAITH & REPENTANCE: We believe in the necessity of repentance and of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in order to obtain salvation.

LAST THINGS: We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final judgement, the eternal blessedness of the righteous and the eternal punishment of the wicked.

ORDINANCES: We believe in the two ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ, namely Baptism and the Lord’s Supper which are of perpetual obligation. Baptism being the immersion of believers upon the profession of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and a symbol of the fellowship of the regenerate in His death, burial and resurrection; the Lord’s Supper being a memorial of the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ. This memorial will remain until His second advent.

EVANGELISM: We believe in the obligation of the Church and every believer to aid in proclaiming salvation to all men through the Lord Jesus Christ.
